About the Field

While its name may suggest baseball first, the Baseball Field is one of Parkwood East’s most versatile open spaces. Its approximately two acres provide room for much more than a ball game—from tossing a frisbee or kicking a soccer ball around to running, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. The field’s main entrance is located along Blue Oak Parkway, placing it immediately beside Blue Oak Park and creating one of the community’s largest combined areas for outdoor recreation.

Field Amenities

The Baseball Field features a traditional baseball diamond and backstop surrounded by a large grassy play area. Residents are welcome to enjoy the field for casual recreation and neighborhood play. Because the field is an informal neighborhood recreation space, residents should bring any equipment they need for their activities and be considerate of others sharing the area.

What's Nearby?

Just next door Blue Oak Park offers a playground, swings, basketball court, and additional recreation space. Together, Blue Oak Park and the Baseball Field create a larger recreational hub with options for a variety of activities.

Caring for the Baseball Field

Like Parkwood East’s other shared spaces, the Baseball Field requires ongoing care and maintenance. The HOA continues to evaluate opportunities to maintain and improve the field so it can remain a useful and welcoming recreation space for the community.
