Show Us Your Spooky Side!

The skeletons are coming out of the closets, the pumpkins are taking over the porches, and things are about to get a little spooky around Parkwood East! This year, we're putting a Halloween twist on a familiar neighborhood tradition.

The Parkwood East HOA is excited to introduce our Halloween Decorating Contest, expanding our holiday decorating festivities beyond Christmas, to give our neighbors another opportunity to show off their creativity. So whether your decorating style is frightfully spooky, delightfully whimsical, or somewhere in between we'd love to see what you come up with.

Let the Decorating Begin!

We're inviting Parkwood East residents to transform their homes into festive Halloween displays for a chance to win one of three prizes! Our HOA Board Members will be judging participating homes for Best Overall category for each display.

And yes, there are prizes!

🏆 First Place: $50 Gift Card
🥈 Second Place: $25 Gift Card
🥉 Third Place: $25 Gift Card

Important Dates

📅 Decorating Deadline: October 30, 2026

Be sure to have your decorations ready by October 30th so they're looking their spooky best when judging begins. Winners will be announced following the contest and we'll feature the winning displays right here on Community Pulse and on our Facebook page.

Show Us Your Halloween Spirit!

You don't need an elaborate haunted house or a yard full of animatronics to participate. Sometimes a little creativity goes a long way! Whether you're going all out or keeping things simple, we hope you'll join us in bringing a little Halloween magic to Parkwood East. So dust off those decorations, untangle those orange lights, and give those skeletons something to do!

We can't wait to see Parkwood East get spooky! 👻
