Firewood Available at Blue Oak Park

If you've visited Blue Oak Park recently, you may have noticed we've accumulated quite the stockpile of firewood! The wood is the result of the tree risk mitigation and grounds work completed throughout Parkwood East this year. Rather than letting usable material go to waste, we'd like to get it into the hands of neighbors who can put it to good use and, in the process, help us clear some space at Blue Oak.

Free Firewood for Parkwood East Residents

Parkwood East homeowners may receive one bundle of 24 pieces of firewood at no cost.

If you'd like a little more, the HOA is also accepting $5 donations for additional bundles. Any contributions received through the firewood program help support the care and improvement of our neighborhood parks, trails, and our shared green spaces.

Not a Parkwood East Resident? You're Welcome Too!

We'd also like to extend the opportunity to our surrounding neighbors and members of the general public. Larger quantities of firewood will also be available for purchase at a fair market price. Availability is limited to the wood we currently have on hand, so once it's gone, it's gone!

Interested in Firewood?

Please contact the Parkwood East HOA Board before collecting wood from Blue Oak Park. We'll help coordinate availability, quantity, and pickup. Whether it ends up keeping a fireplace warm, fueling a backyard fire pit, or becoming part of next summer's camping trip, we'd much rather see this wood put to use than go to waste. And if you happen to help us shrink that rather impressive pile at Blue Oak along the way, we certainly won't complain!
